Linear Dimension

Can be horizontal, vertical or aligned depending on how you move the cursor when placing dimension.

Annotate tab > Dimensions panel > Dimension

Move cursor parallel to selected object become Aligned dimension
Move cursor horizontally become Horizotal Linear dimension
Move cursor vertically become Vertical Linear dimension

In rotated dimensions, the dimension line is placed at an angle to the extension line origin point.
